Before we get underway, welcome to the first edition of The Race Brain Drop. We appreciate the early support! This weekly newsletter will highlight all things Hybrid Racing related.
Picture this: you wrap up a Saturday morning workout of running, pushing some sleds and hopping on an erg. You are out for coffee with your workout crew after. What do you all end up talking about? That is what we will highlight. Athletes, events, gear, workouts... anything that might pop up in that conversation will find its way into this newsletter.
If you haven't yet, make sure to sign up so that the Race Brain Drop can get delivered straight to your inbox weekly.

📊 Elite Field Stats
- Total Athletes: 70 (35 men + 35 women)
- Double Elites: 20 athletes (10 men + 10 women qualified for both Individual and Doubles)
- Super Teams (two Elite 15 individuals on a Doubles team):
- Rich Ryan & Pelayo
- James Kelly & Jake Dearden

🌍 Country Representation
Athletes from 17 countries will compete in the Elite Field, led by:
- 🇺🇸 USA: 16 athletes
- 🇦🇺 Australia: 12 athletes
- 🇬🇧 England: 9 athletes
As a reminder, the Individual race will take place on Thursday evening, Relays on Friday evening, and Doubles on Saturday evening. The ability to recover and reset for the next race will be key.
What's next?
In what is now a rare one-race weekend, HYROX will be returning to the Netherlands for a three-day event May 9th-11th at the Thialf ice arena.

With 2.25 curved laps, a tunnel to the spectator area, and the presumably colder temps of an ice arena, could this be the best HYROX set up ever?
HYROX Competition Reaches New Heights

The stat man, Jack Bauer, found himself asking the question: What is the deepest race in HYROX history? Check out his most recent article, replete with tables, charts, and graphs that Jack always delivers.,
The London Doubles recap is in — and it’s clear the game has changed.
