Hamburg Major Weekend

The first Major of the HYROX season is here! This weekend, Hamburg, Germany plays host to both Elite 15 Individuals and Doubles, all within the first-ever dedicated Elite 15 arena. This new layout and schedule not only improves the broadcast experience, but also allows for more in-depth coverage between races.


📅 Major Weekend Schedule

Friday, October 3rd

  • 🟣 Women’s Race – 4:00 PM (local)
  • 🔵 Men’s Race – 7:00 PM (local)

Saturday, October 4th

  • 🟣 Women’s Doubles – 4:00 PM (local)
  • 🔵 Men’s Doubles – 7:00 PM (local)
Broadcasts start 30 minutes prior to each race on the HYROX YouTube Channel.

📊 Hamburg Major by the Numbers

  • 19 – Women’s roll down position (last in: Danél Louw, 1:02:38)
  • 21 – Men’s roll down position (last in: Richard Hynek, 56:38)
  • 3 – Men making their Major debut (Aguayo, Hynek, Lizarazu Hormilla)
  • 6 – Women debuting at a Major (Putters, Dahmen, Maurer, Oswald, Sheridan, Louw)
  • $119,400 – Total prize purse for Individuals (podium payout of $15,000/$9,600/$6,000, a huge increase from last year)
  • $79,600 – Total prize purse for Doubles (podium payout of $10,000/$6,400/$4,000). All teams will be paid as well. In Chicago only down to 5th place got paid.
  • 4 – Men’s Doubles teams that raced together in Chicago
  • 4 – Women’s Doubles teams that raced together in Chicago
  • 7 – Men racing in both Elite events (Weersma, Dearden, Noble, Wynn, Roncevic, Wenisch, Kelly)
  • 7 – Women racing in both Elite events (Piergianni, Pettrow, Maurer, Arning, Wietrzyk, Weeks, Meier)
