When it comes to the HYROX Elite 15, greatness isn’t about one viral moment—it’s about stringing together performances over time, rising to the occasion when it matters most, and showing up consistently against the best in the world.
This isn’t a popularity contest. We ranked the all-time top 10 men based on World Championship finishes, Major wins and podiums, longevity, and yes—even though times don’t tell the whole story in HYROX, PRs were used to break ties.
Let’s get into it.
#10 – Graham Halliday
Two Major podiums. Multiple top-five finishes. Graham’s résumé is quietly loaded.
He doesn’t do it with flash, but he gets the job done—and when the field is deep and the sleds are heavy, Graham Halliday’s name is always near the top. While he’s yet to snag a World Championship podium, he’s been one of the most reliable racers in big moments and helped raise the standard during HYROX’s expansion years.
#9 – Beau Wills
If there’s one athlete you never want to be leading heading into Wall Balls—it’s Beau Wills.
Beau’s closeout game is lethal. From Farmer’s to the finish, he’s one of the fastest in the world. His two Major podiums show he belongs in the upper tier, but his tendency to fall back early has cost him higher finishes. Still, when he’s locked in, he’s a podium-caliber athlete every time. His ceiling is still rising.
#8 – Rich Ryan
Three Major podiums. A Doubles World Record.
Rich has quietly become one of the most reliable names at the front of HYROX races. What started as an endurance athlete testing his fitness has become a career defined by smart strategy and freakish engine development. His regular podium showings have pushed him into this top 10. If he breaks through with a Major win or World medal, expect him to climb even higher.
#7 – Ryan Kent
Kent’s HYROX career reads like a highlight reel—and a mystery novel.
Two Major wins, a World Championship podium, and a top-five World finish prove his pedigree. But we’ve also seen inconsistency and a bit of bad luck. When he’s on, Kent is a problem for anyone. His powerful station work and long-term relevance in the sport earn him a solid top-10 spot, with the potential to jump if he regains top form.
#6 – Dylan Scott
Dylan might be the most volatile elite racer—when he’s great, he’s great.
With two Major wins and a podium at Worlds, Dylan has stepped into elite company. He’s found consistency in 2025, finally putting together full races that back up his big engine and race IQ. There’s still some boom-or-bust to his style, but that’s part of what makes him dangerous. You can’t count him out—ever.
#5 – Tobias Lautwein
A former World Champion with three World Championship Podiums—all in the top seven.
Tobias is the prototype of the early Elite 15 athlete: smart, experienced, and dependable. His World title puts him on the shortlist of athletes who have sealed the deal on the biggest stage. While he hasn’t dominated Majors to the same extent as others in the top 5, his ability to show up at Worlds year after year makes him undeniable.
#4 – James Kelly
From nearly missing qualification to standing on the World podium—James Kelly’s rise has been meteoric.
With two Major wins and a World Championship medal, Kelly has proven that his skillset isn’t just good, it’s sustainable. His engine is arguably the best in the sport, and his race strategy is surgical. If the trend continues, we might be talking about James as the most dominant new-era athlete before long.
#3 – Tim Wenisch
World Champion. Three-time Major podium finisher. And one of the biggest breakthroughs in HYROX history.
Tim raced like a man possessed in 2025, peaking perfectly at the World Championships and out-dueling Hunter McIntyre in what many are calling the most electrifying finish the sport has seen. His upward trajectory is staggering—and if he maintains this level for another season, he could climb even higher.
#2 – Alexander Rončević
Consistency, toughness, and a career filled with elite finishes.
Alex has the most Major wins of anyone in HYROX history and is a four-time World Championship podium finisher. There was a long stretch where he was always just there—not the flashiest, but the one most likely to be wearing a medal at the end of the day. His World title in 2024 solidified what the stats already told us: he’s one of the best to ever do it.
#1 – Hunter McIntyre
Three-time World Champion. Four World Championship podiums. A world record. Never finished outside the top 5 at a Major or Worlds.
Hunter’s dominance isn’t just in results—it’s in presence. He shaped the early era of HYROX and has remained a top-tier athlete through every evolution of the sport. Even as new talent emerges, Hunter is always in the mix, often dictating the pace and forcing others to react. Until someone can match his combination of titles, records, and longevity, he holds the throne.
Disagree with our list? Good. That’s what makes this fun.
