HYROX has grown into one of the most competitive functional fitness sports in the world. With elite racing now a true global spectacle, it’s time to reflect on the greatest female athletes who have defined the sport. From historic World Championship wins to consistent podium finishes, these are the Top 10 Women in HYROX history.
How This List Was Created
Ranking the greatest HYROX athletes of all time isn’t easy—and it shouldn’t be. The sport has grown rapidly, and so has the level of competition. To build a fair and compelling top 10, we had to weigh a variety of factors that go beyond just race results.
World Championship wins are the crown jewel—when the stakes are highest, who delivered? But even those wins raise questions: should every World Title carry the same weight?
Podium finishes at Worlds cement an athlete’s legacy. They’re the performances that define seasons and careers.
Major Wins and Major Podiums—including the early North American and European Championships—show who was best against the best when it mattered most.
Longevity and consistency can’t be overlooked. Showing up once is impressive. Showing up every season is legendary.
And while personal records might not mean much in a sport with course variance, we do consider them when making tight calls—especially when everything else is neck and neck.

1. Lauren Weeks
With three World Championships, five World podiums, and a staggering 17 elite podiums out of 18 races, Lauren Weeks is the clear #1. The only time she missed the podium was while eight months pregnant in Las Vegas. As the current world record holder and the most dominant figure in both the early and modern HYROX eras, Lauren’s 59% win rate is unmatched. Her longevity and consistency make her the gold standard in the sport.

2. Meg Jacoby
Jacoby might be second in accolades, but many argue she’s the most talented athlete Hyrox has ever seen. With a perfect 9-for-9 podium streak in elite races, three wins, and the distinction of being the first woman under 60 minutes, Meg set new benchmarks. Her powerful performances and surgical racing style position her as the likely heir to the GOAT throne—if her injury recovery holds strong.

3. Linda Meier
With seven elite podiums in 13 races, Linda's rise has been impressive. Her crowning moment was winning the 2025 HYROX World Championship against one of the most stacked fields in history. Though not always the most consistent, her longevity in both the early and modern eras, plus her recent peak, solidifies her at #3.

4. Joanna Wietrzyk
Wietrzyk has only raced five elite events but boasts a perfect podium record (5/5), including one win and a 2025 World Championship podium. While her HYROX career is young, her consistency in an increasingly competitive field suggests long-term greatness. If she continues her trajectory, she could challenge for the top spot in years to come.

5. Kris Rugloski
Rugloski’s 2022 World Championship win earns her a high ranking, even though she only has one elite podium. That one, however, was the biggest of them all. While she hasn’t consistently prioritized Hyrox, her ability to win when it counts makes her one of the most clutch athletes in the sport’s history.

6. Vivian Tafuto
Vivian may not have a win, but she’s one of the most consistent performers in the sport. With two elite podiums and seven top-five finishes in 10 races, she embodies sustained excellence. Her 2024 World Championship podium finish proved she belongs among the elite, even if she flies under the radar.

7. Mikaela Norman
Norman burst onto the scene with a nearly sub-60-minute debut and a win over both Lauren and Meg in Chicago 2023. Though she’s battled health issues and missed major opportunities, her high ceiling and elite win against top talent earn her a spot in the top 10. Her story feels incomplete, but the flashes were brilliant.

8. Viola Oberländer
Viola has quietly accumulated 14 elite races (second only to Lauren), three podiums, six top fives, and two World Championship podiums. While never dominating a season, she has always remained in the mix. Her longevity and elite experience earn her a firm top 10 position.

9. Mirjam Von Rohr
Before she was a CrossFit Games athlete, Mirjam von Rohr was a force in HYROX. A European Champion and World Championship podium finisher in 2022, she helped define a generation of early elite talent in the sport. #9 on our all-time list—and a major part of HYROX history.

10. Rachel Schreiber – The Hidden Gem
Though relatively under-the-radar, Schreiber made a massive splash by winning Dallas 2021, a major pre-modern showdown, and earning a World Championship podium. She only raced three times—but podiumed in all three. With a background as a collegiate runner and CrossFit athlete, she showed what’s possible with pure fitness and grit.
Final Thoughts
Creating an all-time list in a sport as young as HYROX is no easy task. The competitive landscape continues to evolve, with deeper fields and tighter finishes. Still, the athletes above have made lasting impressions—whether through consistent dominance, clutch wins, or standout performances.
As we enter a new season, keep an eye on newcomers, comeback stories, and the legends adding to their legacies. The top 10 may look different a year from now—but for now, this is the definitive list of the greatest HYROX women in history.
